Howdy! My name is Danielle Beard. I am the fourteen year old child of Hals and Tracy Beard. I am also the oldest of five girls. I am a proud resident of a small area called Rosa, Louisiana where I have a small farm and raise cattle. This year was not only my first year at North Central but also my first year enrolling in a public school. I was very nervous because I was afraid of all the changes that I would face. Becoming Student of the Year, definitely helped me to set my standards high for not only the rest of the year but also the rest of my years in high school. I knew that I was able to achieve, all that I had to do was work.
        I would like to thank my parents, teachers, family, and friends for all their help, love, and confidence in me. Most of all, I would like to thank God, for without him I could do absolutely nothing. All I have to say is work for what you want and at your highest ability because you can achieve your dreams no matter how big, wild, or crazy they may be.
