Outstanding Track Athletes
Kenneth Rene and Twanda Washington are two of North Central's outstanding athletes. Kenneth Rene placed first in the long jump and first in the triple jump in District 5-1A. As a result, he was named outstanding fieldman for District 5-1A. He also placed first in the long jump and the triple jump in the regional track meet. Once again he was named outstanding fieldman. In the state track meet, he placed third in the long jump and fifth in the triple jump. Twanda Washington placed first in District 5-1A and first in the regional track meet in the 100 meter hurdles. She also placed second in the state track meet behind Southern Lab in the 100 meter hurdles. Coach Thomas and North Central High School is very proud of the fine job these athletes have done in representing our school.
