NCHS Track 2008
    The 2008 NCHS Track Team had a very successful and historic season, which I had the opportunity to document, having been there near the end of the season. On April 16, 2008, North Central High School hosted the District 6-1A Track Relays. Prior to that the 'Canes had won "Hurricane Relays - Runner Up" (trophy on the right) .
    But on this day history was made, and I was there to record some of it. Our track team became "District 6-1A Champions"(trophy on the left ). The team then went on to state competition, and they did not come back empty handed. In fact, Kory Spurlock came home with 3rd place in the Shot Put.
    Congratulations to the coaches and the team members who invested so much time and effort into their sport, put so much hard work and sacrifice into it to make it happen, and for bringing such pride and honor to our school in this wonderful way.
