Appolonia Chambers scorched the nets for 28 points Friday night to lead North Central to a 55-39 win over Opelousas Catholic.
Chambers also scored 16 points in North Central's 61-21 win over Catholic High of Pointe Coupee on Tuesday.
For her efforts, Chambers was selected as the Daily World Player of the Week for Jan. 1-7.

Errick Coleman exploded for 26 points and Nasom Lamb chipped in 23 points to lead North Central to a 56-50 overtime victory over Opelousas Catholic.

Valencia Harris scored 22 points in North Central's 61-21 win over Catholic High of Pointe Coupee
