On Friday night, far away from home, our Lady Cane's fought valiantly to win in double overtime. "They were a good team," said Val Harris. She played the entire game, and in spite of her and her teamates best efforts, it was a hard fight; however, with a lot of prayers and much determination, the Lady 'Canes prevailed in the end. Time seemed to slow down in the last eleven seconds of the game, according to Harris. There was much relief, exultation, and prayer after the victory. Coach Taylor expressed her joy in her own unique way. Although all it takes is one point to win a game, that can be the hardest point to earn. Congratulations!
Mr. Martel
