Coleman twins earn Player of Week honor

Twin brothers Errick and Derrick Coleman provide double trouble for North Central's opponents.

North Central's Errick Coleman scored 29 points in Tuesday's 90-66 win over Opelousas Catholic, while Derrick Coleman chipped in 20.

Friday in the Hurricanes' 88-47 win over Acadiana Prep, Errick scored 16 points while Derrick pushed in 14.

For their efforts in helping North Central clinch the District 6-1A championship with a perfect 10-0 record, Errick and Derrick Coleman were selected as the Daily World Co-Players of the Week for Jan. 29- Feb. 4.

Nason Lamb contributed 22 points in North Central's 90-66 win over Opelousas Catholic

Donneshia Durriseau contributed 19 points and Tasha Tanner added 16 points in North Central's 61-47 win over Acadiana Prep. Kierra Sinegal chipped in 16 points for the Lady Eagles.

Tanner scored 17 points in North Central's 63-39 win over Opelousas Catholic, while Durrisseau and Valencia Harris each scored 15 points for the Lady Hurricanes. Amanda Fontenot led OC with 16 points.
