Retired educators from St. Landry Parish and other invited guests enjoyed a Thanksgiving feast at North Central High School, compliments of Principal Raymond Duplechain. This annual event was held on Thursday, November 20th in the school cafeteria, and sixty-five guests attended. Principal Duplechain said that he had invited people he had worked with in the past to dine with him. He provided the traditional Thanksgiving Day meal, which was served by teachers with the help of student waiters. As the guests arrived, they were greeted and welcomed by North Central students who asked them to sign our guest book and then directed them to the cafeteria. Our visitors dined on one side of the cafeteria while students had their normal lunch shifts on the other side. Several of our guests commented on how well behaved our students were and how much they had enjoyed their visit to our school.
