The Spring Valley High School Band were our guests on March 25, entertaining us with a wonderful selection of traditional, classical, and popular tunes. We were treated to solo performances by Ms. Elizabeth Sowatkze, NCHS science teacher. Ms Sowatske, who was in the band when she was in high school, invited them to come down to Louisiana to perform for us. The band is from Spring Valley, Wisconsin, a small rural community in the west-central region of Wisconsin. The student body and faculty of North Central High school thank Ms. Sowatske, her friends and family, and Mr. Gary Smith and the band for this unique, entertaining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the performance and are thankful for this opportunity to share in their cultural heritage. | |||||||||||
