Mr. Darrell Porche, Business Education Teacher at North Central
High School instructs teachers in the proper procedure for entering grades on the

instructions on entering grades by computer as part of day two of teacher
mandated workshops held on January 17, 1997.By entering grades on the computer, teachers will be able to assign grades for each of their classes directly, thus eliminating the need for grade collection forms (scan sheets). The computer terminal at NCHS is directly connected via a direct telephone line to the AS/400 mainframe computer at the St. Landry Parish School Board Central Office.
Mr. Porche handles registration, scheduling, grade and absentee reporting, transcripts, and teaches Accounting I & II, Business Computer Applications I & II, and Word Processing at North Central High School.
