Jason Hutchins, Hals Beard-FFA Advisor, and Mathew Pickett
On Monday, March 9, 1998, the NCHS FFA welding team placed fourth in the Agricultural Mechanics competition held at Lafayette Regional Vo-Tech in Lafayette. The team qualified for area competitions by placing second in St. Landry Parish and first in district competitions held earlier this year. The welders placed sixth in the State FFA competition held on April 16, 1998 at LSU in Baton Rouge.
