| Members of North Central FFA attended the National FFA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky in October, 1999 where the chapter received recognition as a Two-Star National Chapter Award Winner and Mayonce E. Franks competed as a National Finalist in the Nursery Operations Proficiency Award Area. | Career Development Events were a major part of the chapter’s activities this past year with three teams winning the parish competition and three teams competing on the state level.
