North Central FFA qualified five teams to participate in the Louisiana FFA Career Development Events held on Thursday, April 25 at LSU in Baton Rouge. Teams competing were Floriculture(both Blue and Gold), Dairy Foods(both Blue and Gold) and Small Engines. The top 16 teams from across Louisiana participated in each of the events. The Floriculture Blue team with Brooke Ducote, Danielle Beard, Melissa Boudreaux and Dane Firmin placed 3rd overall. While the Small Engines team of Joey Schexsnayder and Corey Courville place 5th.
