The North Central FFA Land Judging teams competed in the State FFA Land Judging career development event held in Lake Charles on November 5, 2001. Both teams received Gold emblem recognition with the "Blue" team placing tied for 5th. Earlier in the year, the teams placed 1st/2nd in parish competition and 2nd/3rd in Bi-parish.
