Top Students

Chauntiel and Shimike with plaques Two students attending North Central High have been successful this year in state competition. It's not surprising that these students have done so well at state level since the teachers, principals, and students expect nothing but the best and the parents are in full support of events that build character and are most certainly a stepping stone to success in their children's lives. These two students are Chauntiel Schexsnayder, a sophomore with a promising future in accounting, and Shimike Johnson, a freshman who desires a career in dermatology. The young ladies had put much effort and time in preparation for the event. Chauntiel Schexsnayder placed third in Accounting I, and Shimike Johnson placed fifth in Physical Science and received a special award from the Louisiana State Medical Society for her project entitled, Melanoma, Is There a Cure?
