NCHS Eighth Grade Basketball Champs
    NCHS eighth grade girls basketball team have earned the title St. Landry Parish Eighth Grade District Champs with a 2003-04 record of twelve wins and no losses. The team's coaches are Head Coach Gregory Castain and Assistant Coach Marilyn Chambers. Also, coached by Castain and Chambers are the eighth grade boys basketball team. They are St. Landry Parish district Co-Champs with Plaisance.
